Inaugural Meeting Transcripts
The Marine Protected Areas Federal Advisory
Committee held its inaugural meeting at the Department of
Commerce in Washington, D.C. on June 24-25, 2003. The Committee
learned about their role to provide advice and recommendations
to the Secretaries of Commerce and the Interior on implementation
of aspects of Section 4 of Executive Order 13158. The Committee
also heard from members of the public. The transcript from
